Nanoli Stud Farm is a 250 acre property, located between Mumbai and Pune on the banks of the Indrayani River. The Farm breeds, rears, and trains thoroughbred race horses. Nanoli was started in 1994 by Mr. K N Dhunjibhoy to realise a life long dream. Having been involved in racing and breeding from childhood his ideas and views have found fruit in Nanoli Stud Farm. Our team is both dedicated and enthusiastic, and our goal is your (the clients) success. We give our horses every opportunity in this competitive industry. Our mares, foals and yearlings are on a balanced feeding programme, which is monitored by a leading Australian Equine Nutritionist. All the animals on the farm have specialised attention paid to their feet by our team of resident farriers, who liaise with our consultant Swiss Master Farrier. The Farm has the best training facilities in India, which include a state of the art aqua - treadmill, two indoor training schools, four automatic 6 horse walkers, 7 modern well ventilated airy stable barns, starting gates, a 7 furlong turf training track as well as an undulating sand trotting track. Our stallion office complex is a thing of beauty, as well as the hub of our operations.

All horses are closely monitored and suitable training programmes are devised weekly. The yearling programme on the farm, unique to Nanoli, will provide its customers with a fully broken in horse at the point of sale. Nanoli's environment ensures, that all its bloodstock is given the opportunity to develop to their fullest.

The farm started with one resident stallion "Cristofori" who as a 2 yr old was a Gr. 2 winner in France. As a 3 yr old he finished 4th to A.P. Indy in the Belmont Stakes. He has had a short but successful stud career, with a winner of the Indian Super Mile Gr1 (ALGECIRAS), close second in the Pune Derby Gr1 (YUKON) and the Indian 1000 Guineas Gr1 (LADY MOURA). The Nanoli mares will be visiting as many as 8 to 9 different stallions in 2005 (Indictment, Black Cash [USA], Royal Kingdom [IRE], Storm Trooper [USA], Pennine Ridge [USA], Mr. Mellon [USA], and Aldeburgh). New stallion prospects for 2005 are Greensmith [GB] , Ikhtyar [IRE], and Puerto Madero [CHI].

More recently Nanoli Stud Farm has been certified as Asia's first and only ISO certified stud farm. The ISO certification is the result of our commitment to ensuring that the highest quality systems and processes are followed.
